MAJOR ACTIVITIES AND PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate set-up and overall maintenance of the IP Portfolio inclusive of Patents, Trademarks, Contracts, Copyrights and Oppositions. Word processing, filing, and preparation of IP documents, reports, and presentations. Maintaining dockets, preparing and filing documents with both the US and international patent authorities. Comply with renewal of patents and trademarks worldwide. Manage the Non-Disclosure Agreement process. Interact with legal, technical, business unit staffs as well as outside counsel and foreign associates.
GENERAL ACTIVITIES:
• Preparation of Intellectual Property documents, reports, and presentations.
• Coordination of filings by outside counsel.
• Preparation, correspondence and administration of agreements for attorney review and finalization and maintaining within IP database.
• Assist with generating reports for budget and periodic reviews.
• Assist in maintaining all docketing updates.
• Occasional weekday overtime.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• A detail-oriented self-starter who is able to assess priorities, accomplish multiple tasks in an organized and efficient manner and handle a wide variety of responsibilities both independently and in a team setting.
• The ability to interface effectively with other members of the IP team, other departments, plant personnel, governmental patent offices, and outside law firms.
• A high degree of discretion and awareness of and sensitivity to the confidentiality of Intellectual Property matters handled.

(3) General knowledge of IP Contracts and renewals for Trademarks.
Desired Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
