Western Kentucky Paralegals was formed to provide support and guidance for paralegals in the Western Kentucky area.
WKP's goals are to provide continuing legal education and ethical guidelines to its members and increase community awareness of the paralegal profession.
As an affiliate of the National Association of Legal Assistants, WKP has adopted the Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility of NALA and its members agree to be bound by the Code.
WKP endorses the Certified Legal Assistant program administered by NALA. WKP recognizes certification as a personal achievement and recognition of dedication to the profession. Certification requires successful completion of a comprehensive two-day examination and continuing legal education is required to maintain CLA status.
