Western Kentucky Paralegals (WKP) was formed in 1992, with the goal of establishing fellowship among association members, the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA), Kentucky Paralegal Association (KPA), and members of the legal community. We promote continuing legal education and certification for our members.

WKP participates in a number of community service events each year. WKP has remained a strong force in the Western Kentucky legal community since its formation to present. We currently have 25 members.

WKP meets monthly and offers CLEs at most meetings during the year. We have had CLE presentations recently on Criminal Law update, Ethics for Paralegals, and Kentucky’s Safe Haven for Infants Laws.

WKP gave $200.00 to Graves County Food Pantry and $375.00 to Community Kitchen in Paducah as the annual Christmas Community Service. January and February 2026 service projects were at New Beginnings Ministry. March and April service projects will be Idols Aside.
